From the BMIFC...
Dear Friends...

This letter feels like a turning point. The Diane Schuur album has been received by rave reviews. The Bette Midler album has been received by rave reviews. And Harmony is getting ready to open; we're sure to rave reviews.

In the touring world, concert promoters are still raving about the ULTIMATE Tour and are begging for more. The record industry now uses the success of ULTIMATE MANILOW (1.5 million) as the measuring stick for everyone else's "ultimate" this or "essential" that. And in looking over the stacks of reviews and clippings from the past few years, we've all finally accepted that most of them are consistently pretty darn good.

What a difference a decade makes.

Throughout those decades, however, you've always been there. Even when the raves were few and far between. And we'd all like to say thanks.

How appropriate that our appreciation comes at this time of the year. Here in America, we'll soon be celebrating Thanksgiving, a time to give thanks to everyone and for everything that exists in our lives. And even though the exact holiday may not translate beyond our shores, we know that the spirit and appreciation do.

So to each of you, on whatever shore, thank you.

Thank you certainly for the support and success you have shared with all of us. Often times in the face of odds and obstacles that could devastate a weaker soul.

But mostly, thank you for the friendships that you have shared with each of us.

Here's to you, old friends. Here's to you........
