(Schaefer Music Festival, Central Park) | 1972-1973 dates are "on tour" with Bette Midler... - Sheron Tippens (3/23/98) This was the first time I saw Barry. He was with Bette Midler (The Divine Miss M). I lived in Virginia but I was visiting a friend of mine (Catrina) and her mother Abby in New York. Abby took us to this music festival. It was awesome! I have been hooked on Barry's music and following his career ever since then. Over the years I have been to many, many of Barry's shows and feel like [when I go] I am going to see a SPECIAL FRIEND!
