I'm so sorry.

For those people who were in the Paris, Las Vegas audience on Saturday night; they were able to hear that my voice was gone. After a handful of songs, everyone in the room, including my band, singers, and crew knew it was just a matter of time that I was going to throw in the towel.

I was sure that it was that stupid bronchitis that got me again. But when two doctors went down my throat to my vocal chords, they both agreed that this horrible acid reflux that's been attacking me has infected my vocal chords. Anyone out there have acid reflux? Well, you must know what a drag it is.

But for us vocalists, it gets our vocal chords and it's murder.

I'm on a million things that are supposed to ease the infection and I'll be back [at Paris] by next weekend, determined to give our audience the best show ever.

So for those of you who were there and are dissappointed, angry, and unhappy, I apologize sincerely.

You all know, I would never cancel a show if it wasn't absolutely impossible for me to perform. You all know, I've gone on stage with fever, the flu, after tragedies, in horrible weather and more....and as long as I can make a sound in tune, I'll be there.

But when nothing comes out when I try and sing....there's nothing I can do about it.

So please forgive me.

Barry
