Barry Manilow Shares 'Greatest Love Songs' with ET

Barry Manilow is back with an all-new album in stores today, The Greatest Love Songs of All Time, and he performs select tunes from the album for ET! "I've made some beautiful records over my career," Barry tells our own Mary Hart, "but this is the most beautiful album I've ever made, all together from the beginning to the end. I'm so proud of it."

The follow-up to Barry's mega-bestselling series of "Decades" albums that he masterminded with super producer Clive Davis, The Greatest Love Songs of All Time includes such timeless standards "The Theme From Love Story (Where Do I Begin)," "The Look Of Love," "We've Only Just Begun," Irving Berlin's "How Deep Is The Ocean?" and George Gershwin's "Love is Here To Stay." "These songs have been done and done and done by everybody from Sinatra to [Elvis], and to try and put myself into these songs and make them sound fresh and new … it took me a long time to do every song and figure out my way of doing it. I really love what I came up with."

Barry also is gearing up for a run in Sin City starting March 5 at Paris Las Vegas, the perfect showcase for these songs. "It's the most beautiful show I ever had anything to do with because I figured, well, I've got a brand-new, beautiful album, and Paris is the most beautiful city, and Paris Las Vegas is the most romantic place on the strip," he explains, "so I thought it's all about art, beauty and romance, and that's want I want the show to be about." (originally aired January 29, 2010)

Rachael Ray Show The legendary Barry Manilow has sold 80 million albums and is known worldwide as the man who "writes the songs that make the whole world sing," but did you know he's also an avid bowler? "On a night off, [my band and I] will all meet at a bowling alley in whatever town we're in and it's great fun. I'm not bad - I usually think I'm going to really make a fool of myself, but I don't!"

"Fanilows" will be excited to hear that not only does he have a new album out called The Greatest Love Songs of All Time, but Barry has also signed on for a two-year stint performing at Paris Las Vegas. "I'm putting a brand new show together," he shares. "I mean, Paris is always synonymous with love and romance so we're making it really romantic."

When Barry answers a few audience questions, he reveals that out of all the songs he's written and performed, he has a favorite. "They change every week - they're like my children! But the one that I keep going back to is 'Could It Be Magic?'" He's also got an interesting use for his first Emmy® statue. "I wanted people to see it. And I thought, where would people see it the most? So I use it as a door stop as you go up to my studio!"
