March 6-7: Where do I begin? Well, I was very fortunate to see the three performances of Barry's new show this past weekend at the beautiful Paris Las Vegas. I had different vantage points in the theater and can say that they were all amazing and Barry looked so handsome and debonair. The production is very classy and well produced and very impressive. The set design, lighting, choreography and costumes are spectacular especially Barry’s Copacabana outfit! There were many standing ovations and a enthusiastic crowd to say the least. I found the song selections romantic and beautiful like "Love Me Tender," songs from the new Greatest Love Songs of All Time CD, "Nature Boy," "I Wanna Be Somebodys Baby" and "Everything's Gonna Be Alright." "Could It Be Magic" is perfect and very sweet and romantic. I have to say this new production is going to be a sure fire hit for a long time, Barry. Kudos to all involved, you, your band and backup singers. Thanks for such an exciting enjoyable weekend at Paris and I look forward to coming back to see the show again very soon!! - Linda Foster (Centreville, VA) (3/9/2010)

March 6-7: Opening week at the Paris was phenomenal! Barry's new show was so fresh and so different. With a Paris theme, we took a romantic journey with Beautiful Music... gorgeous ballads, romantic love songs, and also some uptempo songs which were fun and exciting. Loved "I Want To Be Somebody's Baby" and "Everything's Gonna Be Alright"! "Where Do I Begin" is a favorite and Barry makes it his own. "Copacabana" has a new look with Barry in a full Tuxedo, hat and cane. The man looks stunning! And of course all of our favorites with a new twist. A top notch show in a beautiful new theater and I loved everything second of it. It was very exciting and I can't wait to go back and see it again and again! Love ya, Barry! - Mary (of New Jersey) (3/9/2010)

March 6-7: The opening nights of Barry's new show at the Paris Las Vegas reflected everything he stands for at it's best. He triumphed over what could have been a disaster when the power surge damaged so much of his equipment (on March 5th) and gave us three wonderful shows. Having seen his previous show at the Hilton many times, I was unsure of just what to expect at the Paris. Well, as always, Barry kept his word... the new show is beautiful, filled with emotion, and has a completely different feel than his shows at the Hilton. I sat in front of a small group of people for the second show Saturday evening. The young man was a musician himself and before the show he said that he had debated over coming to see the show and was hoping that the opening would leave him saying "WOW!" As the curtain came down, he tapped me on the shoulder and said it had blown him away, that he was now a "honorary member" of the fan club. It's times like that that I am so proud to be a lifelong fan. The entire production was top notch and beautifully done and I have no doubt it will fill the Paris theater every night for as long as Barry chooses to stay there. These shows will always be special ones for me and I consider myself very fortunate to have been there to see Barry shine brighter than ever before. Congratulations on a job well done, Mr. Manilow! - Lori Domingo (Tampa, FL) (3/14/2010)

March 6-7: What can I say? The new show at the Paris Las Vegas is the most beautiful show Barry has ever done. From the opening with "Could It Be Magic" you could feel the emotion from Barry. Loved "I Want To Be Somebody's Baby," and the new upbeat "Everything's Gonna be Alright." "Weekend in New England," "Even Now," and "I Am Your Child" were perfect along with new productions of "New York City Rhythm," "Bandstand Boogie" and "Copacabana" featuring Barry in his wonderful tux and top hat. I can't wait to go back and See The Show Again! Thanks, Barry, for your music and all that you have given us over the years. You are like a fine wine and just keep getting better and better. - Kay Gardner (Chicago, IL) (3/14/2010)

Barry, your voice hasn't changed a bit, and your songs still bring joy to my soul and tears to my eyes! When my mom comes to visit from Germany this Fall maybe we'll come and see you at the Paris One More Time! - Bibsy (originally from Frankfurt, Germany) (5/17/2010)

Show highlights: "Could It Be Magic," "Everything's Gonna Be Alright," "Somewhere In The Night," "Weekend In New England," "Can't Smile Without You," "I Am Your Child," "I Want To Be Somebody's Baby," "Nature Boy," "This One's For You," "New York City Rhythm," "Love Is Here To Stay," "Where Do I Begin?," "Love Me Tender," "Even Now," "Bandstand Boogie," "Mandy," "I Write The Songs," "Copacabana (At The Copa)."

Barry's shows were excellent! I really enjoyed the shows. "Love Me Tender" was included the first week and "When You Were Sweet Sixteen" was added the second week. Both songs are amazing. Barry sings them with such tenderness. How can you not fall in love with that beautiful voice! March 19-21: I don't know what it is about him that brings me so much joy... Watching him perform, hearing him sing... it's like Heaven on Earth! I love the new show at the Paris! It's more beautiful than anything I've ever seen. Barry's voice is so crisp and clear, so strong and so gorgeous! It's hard to pick favorites but I do have a soft spot for the love songs from Barry's new CD ("The Greatest Love Songs of All Time"). I love the opening of "Could It Be Magic" and I also love "I Wanna Be Somebody's Baby." "Bandstand Boogie" and "New York City Rhythm" are also fun songs! "Nature Boy" is another one... just adorable hearing Baby Barry, and beautiful hearing Barry now. March 26-28: My friend (Bev) was especially touched by "When You Were Sweet Sixteen" because her father used to sing this song to her mother. It was very emotional for her. Then you see Barry's other side with his funny dance moves during "Bandstand Boogie" ... It cracks me up everytime. It's no wonder why I keep coming back to see Barry's shows. He is the perfect showman! Can't wait to come back and do it all over again!! - Mary (of New Jersey) (4/1/2010)

April 2-4: It was a dynamic evening each night with Barry at the beautiful Paris Las Vegas. He took us on a journey with romantic songs from his latest CD The Greatest Love Songs of All Time, as well as his popular classics. The theater is a jewel box with beautiful lighting and chandeliers and the seating is amazing. Barry opens the show with "Could it be Magic" and the audience was on their feet immediately. I love the songs "Everything’s Gonna Be Alright," "Somewhere In The Night," "New York City Rhythm," "Mandy," "I Wanna Be Somebody’s Baby," "Nature Boy," "I Am Your Child," "This One’s For You," "Even Now" and "Weekend in New England." On Sunday night Barry added a few gems from his jingles catalog: Band-Aids and State Farm. Barry’s voice is powerful, masterful and tender. "Copacabana" is just the perfect ending to the shows when he disappears below stage to change into his tuxedo with tails, cane and top hat. I could tell the audience was loving the whole effect. Me too! He looks so handsome and debonair. Overall I have to say this was another series of great shows and I have to also give thanks to Barry’s band and backup singers who complement him so well. They all are having such a good party time on stage. Barry had a twinkle in his eyes Sunday night and before closing I have to say the "Can't Smile Without You" segment was a blast, especially for me as I was chosen to sing along! I hope I was in tune! Thanks, Barry, for making my night so EXTRA extra special! I heard a remark as I was leaving the theater that this is the Best Show on the Strip. So Barry you are an amazing entertainer and I also have to add I can't wait to plan another trip back to see you. You are the best!!- Linda Foster (of Virginia) (4/7/2010)

April 2-4: Barry's new show at the Paris Theatre is a visual and musical masterpiece! The beautiful theatre combined with the spectacular lighting and sound, is a breathtaking venue that just must be experienced! From the very first note of "Could It Be Magic," Barry takes the audience on a journey of romance, tenderness and laughter with the most beautiful inspiring music. Barry's voice is clear and strong as he sings everything from "Nature Boy" (baby Barry is priceless!!), "Can't Smile Without You," "Weekend In New England," "Bandstand Boogie" to "Copacabana (At The Copa)." "This One's For You" and "Even Now" were especially meaningful to me this weekend and moved me more than words can even express... How does Barry do that!? With the brilliant lighting and glamorous costumes the backups and the band can be viewed throughout the show and each one puts on an amazing performance. When combined with Barry, the production has a contagious energy that touches and embraces each member of the audience. This is truly much more than just a show, this is an experience that will make you laugh, maybe even cry, but will definitely lift your spirits! Barry truly is an amazing showman and gives more than 110% of himself in every show. This production is truly a work of art, an incredible experience that touched my heart in a way I will never forget. Barry, thank you so much for all that you do! The new show is sensational! I will be back! - Kendra Kempt (Minneapolis, MN) (4/7/2010)

April 2-3: The dueling drums with Russ and David (on "Bandstand Boogie") is just fantastic! I love it because there is so much energy and you can get up and dance, have a great time (how can you not!?). The same thing with "New York City Rhythm" with the dueling pianos. Those are fantastic pieces of the show. My favorite always is the eye contact with Barry. I love the way he sings those Love Songs from his "Greatest Love Songs of All Time" CD (Would love to hear more of those songs added into the shows!). - LauraAnn Millard (New York City, NY) (4/10/2010)

April 2: I got a Platinum ticket on Good Friday. Meeting BArry and seeing the concert at the Paris all blended together as one joyous occasion. They had opened the show only three weeks before but Barry told me it was a beautiful show, and it was! When Barry came out he opened with my favorite song, "Could It Be Magic." I loved hearing Barry play the middle section on the piano. Barry also sang "Even Now" that night ... It was absolutely a beautiful concert, Barry, with such beautiful pictures and setting for you to do your shows from. A match made in heaven! You also sang all your hits including "Can't Smile Without You," "Weekend In New England" and "I Write The Songs." - Sharon Zotti (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) (3/21/2011)

April 3: Another favorite concert! - Cheryl (Sherbourne) Whitt (Las Vegas, Nevada) (8/19/2011)

April 11: I was sitting front row at Barry Manilow's concert at the beautiful Paris Las Vegas. I went to go and shake Barry's hand. He had a microphone in his [right] hand so in addition to grabbing my hand with his left hand, he pulled me up and I sang "Can't Smile Without You" with Barry! I have been to over 70 concerts all over the world and this was one of the most memorable concerts I have ever been to. This was the third time I have seen him at the same venue in two months and I would see him again. I am 24 and love music such has this! - Rhys O'Connell (Adelaide, Australia) (5/14/2010)

April 30-May 2: What can I say about Barry's shows? Every show is just as entertaining and exciting as the one before. This week's shows were beautiful. "Could It Be Magic," "This One's For You," "Nature Boy," "Weekend In New England," "Even Now"... too many amazing songs to mention and all done in the way that only Barry can do them. He is a master musician and performer. His singing touches you in ways that no one else can. Barry is tender and sweet and fun and exciting all at the same time. It's no wonder we keep coming back! The shows are phenomenal and I can't seem to stay away. We love ya, Barry! Can't wait to See The Show Again!! - Mary (of New Jersey) (5/5/2010)

May 1: Hi Barry! I have so many wonderful memories of concerts over the last 30 years. I always think that the last time I have seen you as the best. Why? Well, simply because you keep outdoing yourself. Just when I think that I have seen the best concert ever, you go and surprise me, and the next one I see is even better than the last. I dont know how you do it, but I am not asking how... just keep doing it!! I especially like the new concert at the Paris Las Vegas. You feel the romance from the moment you walk in the auditorium. The whole place is wonderful. I love the beginning with the French music and the fireworks pictures, etc. "Could It Be Magic" is a brilliant start. Love the changes in themes throughout the concert and the way in which the slightly larger stage makes it easier for you to be centre stage more. I know that you love to promote your back-up singers and band, but people have come to see you and in that way this concert is better than the Hilton! Love the drumming by Russ and David. Love the changes to your Grandpa tribute. The pictures really help tell the story. And how do you change "Copacabana"? I know, by [disappearing] down a "hole"! Brilliant! The faces that you pull are so funny as you go up and down the little lift!! The tux is gorgeous, as is the show's beautiful ending. I will never forget the first time I saw you at Blenheim Palace in 1983, and I will never forget this last time at the Paris either. Here's to the next "last" concert... I will be coming back to see you from the UK as long as you are there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you and your Beautiful Music have brought my life! Love forever, Sue Ovens (England, UK) (5/18/2010)

April 30: I attempted to attend other Barry concerts but either the show was cancelled or my kids were sick and I had to stay home. [For this show] I was very concerned something would happen again...for my birthday, no less! My flight was diverted on the way to Las Vegas due to high winds, but I made it into town in time. At the concert opening, Barry apologized for having a touch of laryngitis, but he performed anyway and I was absolutely thrilled to finally see him perform. I hope to attend again and again. His show at the Paris was fabulous! Very fast paced and energetic, and pleasing to the eye. All of the staff at the venue were wonderful. They were all very cheerful and happy to be there. The gift shop clerks were exceptionally friendly and professional. I had a wonderful birthday experience! Thank you, Barry!! - Sarah (of Arkansas) (6/15/2010)

April 30: When Barry moved from the Las Vegas Hilton to Paris Las Vegas on the Strip, I wasn't sure I could come (from Denmark) and see more shows. I prayed I had the possibilities. On April the 30th, I had the possibility again, fortunately, and I went! The show was totally changed from what I'd seen at the Hilton but I saw a Barry Manilow on fire! I saw a Broadway show in high, high Superstar class. Barry is and will always be a SUPERSTAR in the same level as Frank Sinatra was when he was at his best. I loved the setting, the lighting on the stage, and especially Barry's clothes throuhgout the whole show (especially the Copa outfit!). Barry's voice is GOLDEN and he looks more and more wonderful. He puts his whole energy in every note and movement and everytime you've been to a show you feel like you get some of Barry's soul with you, wherever you go. I've got a long way to travel (myself) and everytime I take a little of Barry home with me. I have him in my heart forever. Thank you, Barry, for giving us You and Your Music. May 7: The concert was FANTASTIC and so beautiful. Barry looked fantastic and the show was great. The new show is so different and exciting and Barry's singing is the best ever. The outfits and the dancing and background is so like Paris. Barry's dancing and energy in the show is so exciting and there are so many different moves. You can see that Barry is enjoying every minute of it. The other shows at the Hilton were wonderful but this show outdoes it! This was such a wonderful idea. It is truly a remarkable performance by Barry, the back-up singers/dancers and the band. I was also so very lucky and blessed that Barry asked me to sing "Can't Smile Without You" with him. I was so surprised and so honored that he picked me. I will never forget it and it was the best birthday present I could have every asked for. Barry, thanks so much for the best night ever. I can't wait to see the show again soon. Love Always, Karen Shegogue (Jacksonville, Florida) (5/22/2010, 4/26/2012)

I read his wonderful book, Sweet Life: Adventures on the Way to Paradise, five times and it felt like he was talking to me! All the wonderful comments people have written on the computer also make me love him even more! May God continue to bless him and keep him happy, healthy and safe. Continued success for many, many more years! - Marlene Depper (Fremont, CA) (5/23/2010)

May 28: Barry did it again! There I was, waiting for the show to start expecting to see Barry's name in lights and see him walk out. Nope, not this time! Well, the lights were there but instead of walking out, the lights were raised and there HE was! Instead of "Could It Be Magic," Barry did "It's a Miracle," "Daybreak," and "Somewhere in the Night." The crowd was on its feet and I was pumped! I can't remember the playlist exactly. All I know is that when it was over I left with a good feeling. He did two songs from "The Greatest Love Songs Of All Time." Despite his mentioning that he had laryngitis, he looked great. Big smile on his face! He seemed happy too... Did a couple of hops here and there (don't you just love when he does that?). And it didn't stop him from holding that last note in "Even Now." Love the drum dual that was added to "Bandstand Boogie." It's a beautiful romantic show, and I can't wait to See the Show Again!
May 29: Barry got two awards during the show! I believe it was the Las Vegas Post who was there and Barry received the "Best Bang for Your Buck" Award and "Best Headliner on the Strip" -- Congratulations Barry! I was glad to be there to see you get these awards. As for the Show... WOW! I've seen a few of the new shows now and I must say this was the best so far. This show had it all -- the perfect balance of beauty, romance, and energy. Barry was extremely happy and the audience was great! "Even Now" was more powerful than I've seen, and this is the one that brought tears to my eyes. I'm really getting to love, love this show, and the Paris is starting to feel like home!

June 4-5: I just spent two dynamic fun-filled evenings seeing Barry at the Paris Las Vegas. There were good crowds for the shows I saw and Barry was so happy and handsome and his voice powerful!! We enjoyed his pop classics such as "Could It Be Magic," "Somewhere In The Night," "Mandy," "New York City Rhythm," "Even Now," "I Write The Songs" and "Weekend In New England" (Yes Barry, you still have it!). "I Am Your Child" and "Nature Boy" were sweet and poignant. Everything Barry sings he sings with such passion. Barry also played some selections from his jingles catalog such as "State Farm" and "Band Aids." I loved "Everything’s Gonna Be Alright" and "I Wanna Be Somebody’s Baby" too. Barry mentioned a recent trip to Paris as he introduced us to his selections from his latest Greatest Love Songs of All Time album. I think he knocked the crowd off their feet this time with "Where Do I Begin" and "Love is Here To Stay"! The "Cant' Smile Without You" sing-along was great fun! Barry’s wardrobe is outstanding. Loved the sparkly neck scarf on Saturday as well as the white jacket and the red suit. Oh, and the Copacabana tux... cannot say enough about that. Barry looks very handsome and classy! You just have to go see Barry’s new show at the Paris and see for yourself why he just won two recent awards, Best Show On The Strip and Best Bang for Your Buck. It’s true and I loved every second of being there! I just can’t seem to stay away, because Barry is my favorite entertainer of all time! - Linda Foster (6/7/2010)

June 6: The Sunday show at Paris Las Vegas was delightful, spectacular and every other adjective you can think of. The music choices were beautifully woven into an artful performance. For those of you who have seen the "concerts" DON'T MISS this "show." It is very different from arena concerts. Everything at Paris Las Vegas tied into the theme of Where Love Begins, from his upbringing in Brooklyn, his grandfather, the commerical jingles to the classic romance songs we are all sooo familiar with, and even the staging. Even though you know the songs (and who doesn't!?), the production offers a "special delivery" package. Definitely not to be missed -- I will return again -- I know they'll be different songs (heck, you simply CAN'T perform all the romance songs in Barry Manilow's catalogue in one night!). ENJOY!! - Peggy Ann Herberg (Long Island, NY) (6/18/2010)

June 4: I have been a 'Barry' fan for over 34 years, and doing a Platinum with Barry was one of the best experiences of my life. I was treated like a queen and everyone was sooo nice... Kirsten, Drew, Jay... My son grew up listening to Barry's music and is a very talented musician today because of him. Now my 6-year-old granddaughter is doing the same, listening to his music and singing his songs... The show at the Paris Hotel is awesome, especially when you have a front row seat! I could have stayed there forever. I live in Southern Ontario, and Barry friends and I (along with friends from Western New York) have what we call "Barry lunches" every other month. We all became friends because of Barry and corresponding through the BarryNet and we call ourselves "Barry's Border Babes" .... How can I ever thank this wonderful man for being in every part of my life. I have promised my six-year-old granddaughter I will take her to meet Barry which I hope to do soon. She, like me, will have the best experience of her life. Thank you, Barry, for being you! - Sheila Angus (Burlington, Ontario, Canada) (8/11/2010)

Favorite Show: The energy from Barry, the musicians and the crowd has carried through the years [since I first saw Barry in 1976]. The songs mean as much to me now as they did back then. - Anne Brewer (of North Carolina) (11/26/2010)

First Show - Kurt Sedlmeir (Henderson, Nevada) (4/12/2011)

July 9: The show was absolutely spectacular! My husband and children were so excited to see Barry! We laughed, cried and everything in between! I cannot thank you enough, Barry, for all the wonderful memories you brought back to me through your music... a storybook that is never ending! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing your life story with us! - Jennifer Rahal-Moore (Edinboro, PA) (7/10/2010)

July 10: I have been a fan since "Mandy." I met a wonderful person (Sue) at a Barry concert at "Manilow" Bay in December 2001. Sue and I have become Barry buds, I've visited her in Oregon, she's been to Salt Lake to see me and a concert (of course), and she and I have traveled to Phoenix, where we were in the front row. We went to Everett, Washington for a show, and we most recently enjoyed last Saturday night's amazing concert, with the "oldies" from Barry Manilow I. The music was beautiful and heartfelt, and we got treated to beautiful Barry's voice and sentiments on "The Best Seat in the House." All Barry concerts are wonderful, and I am glad to be a fan of someone with style, who knows how to make our little hearts go pitter pat. Thanks for all the years of Beautiful Music, and the Memories that I will cherish always! - Barbara Meyer (South Jordan, UT) (7/13/2010)

July 10: First of all, the entire BMIFC "Party in Paris" (convention) fell on my birthday weekend, July 9-11. Saturday night, during the concert, Barry walked over to where my friend (Mary) and I were standing. Barry stopped right in front of me, reached out his hand, and looked at me with those beautiful blue eyes. When he took my hand, he whispered to me "Happy Birthday, Linda." Totally blew me away! I did not expect that at all. It was the best birthday weekend I ever had! The shows at Paris Las Vegas are wonderful. So bright and colorful. The theater is beautiful... breathtaking. I will definitely go back! Thank you, Barry, for a great birthday gift! - Linda Galve (of Southern California) (8/2/2010, 11/18/2010)

July 11: When we were about to initiate the flight back to Brazil, right from Las Vegas, the flight attendant said "Welcome back to reality!" I thought he was saying it especially to me. I had been to the Party in Paris Convention the night before I attended the last of three shows. In this last show Barry took me by surprise when he [leaned] over and held my hand. Holding his hand, feeling his warmth and looking so close to those beautiful and big blue eyes was so unexpected and exciting that I lost my voice. He asked me something that I could not answer. I won't forget that moment for as long as I live. It was not only my favorite show, but the favorite night of my life! - Marcia Muniz (of Brazil) (4/22/2011)

I went with three friends of the Brazilian to the fan club convention in 2010, which was held at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. July 11th: I remember every moment of it. My Brazilian friends and I were pleasantly surprised when Barry spoke to us during the third show. He told us about writing "Copacabana" in Rio de Janeiro. My great joy was to have great happiness in having Barry greet me. I wept with emotion [during] his concert. On July 10th, I didn't hold the tears during "This One's For You." For me, there will never be someone as special as Barry Manilow. - Maria José Comis Wagner (Campinas, São Paulo State, Brazil) (9/17/2011)

Mr. Manilow gave us lots of songs we don't normally hear. - Gail Lyons (Port Ryerse, Ontario, Canada) (6/12/2015)

July 16-18: The shows this past weekend were nothing short of amazing! I was fortunate enough to see the show back in early March and it was spectacular then but I have to say I think it has gotten even better! The highlight for me was "The Best Of Me" ... I don't think I've seen a more emotional performance than when he sang this song on Friday night (July 16). I can't say enough about Barry's new show at the Paris. It just gets better with time! Thanks for a fantastic weekend and for making my troubles disappear for awhile. Barry always says that his goal is to make people feel something... No one does this better than he does! - Lori Domingo (Tampa, FL) (7/20/2010)

July 16: Barry Manilow never disappoints! That's why all of his concerts are favorites. His presentations have always been warm and inviting. He welcomes the audience to join in on the singing; I'm certain he's aware that we all are singing along with him in our heads even before. The other artists on stage who add to the performance increase the level of enjoyment. I always leave a Barry Manilow concert feeling uplifted even though I'm sorry for the evening to end. This was no exception. Such a great evening with Beautiful Music (some pieces that I've not heard in concert before) and scenery. Thank you Barry Manilow and company. - Cindy Carnahan (Lombard, IL) (7/22/2010)

July 16-17: The show is absolutely beautiful and Barry was incredible both nights. I sat next to great fans both nights and we enjoyed listening to a song none of us had heard him perform in concert before. "The Best of Me" was absolutely amazing to hear him sing. On the 17th, I was so lucky to sit right in the middle, front row and hear his beautiful voice. The guy sitting next to me leaned over and said, "from here, you can see and feel the emotion in every note, he's amazing!" It truly was. Thank you, Barry, for letting me sing into your microphone on Saturday. It was such a treat! My daughter and I sing "Can't Smile Without You" everyday on our way to school/work. My new friends (I always meet new friends when I come to the shows) and I had a great time. Keep singing, Barry. We love it! - Maria Sobota (Denver, CO ...and elsewhere!) (7/30/2010)

July 16: Barry has an amazing level of stamina and energy and just being in the auditorium was enough, witnessing the greatness that is Barry Manilow. I was fortunate to be chosen to have a master class with Barry that evening before his show. This was due to the BBC in the UK who sent me as part of a prime time TV programme, Tonight's the Night hosted by a good friend of Barry's, John Barrowman. I had had the opportunity to share my love of his music by singing my favourite songs with him and him playing. It was very humbling to be in his presence and for him to be so warm and welcoming. He was very generous with his time and talent and the memory will stay with me for all time. God Bless you Barry. - Richard Smith (Birmingham, England) (8/1/2010)

July 16: This concert was my daughter's first visit to Vegas and it was great to share Barry's music with another generation - she is 49 and I am 69 - we had great seats and both enjoyed the show equally - I would go back tomorrow! - Lise De La Durantaye (Quebec City, Canada) (8/3/2010)

July 16: It was great seeing Barry again. He still puts on an awesome show. I like the intimate feeling [of the showroomm]. I was in the fourth row. - Rosa Cournaya (Corvallis, OR) (10/19/2010)

Barry Manilow returned to Atlantic City for a
Special Concert with the New York Pops Orchestra!

I saw Barry in concert with the New York Pops in Atlantic City last night. To listen to Barry sing all of my favorite songs accompanied by an orchestra was nothing short of magic. When Barry sang "Even Now" I had chills up my spine and tears in my eyes. It brought me to a place I had not been to in a long time. It happened again with "When October Goes" and "Weekend In New England"; perhaps my three favorite songs of all time. I have been a fan of Barry's music since 1974 and these lyrics are still as moving as when I first heard them. My life is better for having these wonderful songs and concert experiences in it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! - Mary (of New Jersey) (8/15/2010)

These were the best seats we ever had. To everyone involved and especially "The Man" Barry Manilow, the concert last night in Atlantic city was the best. All my husband and I said to each other when it was over was "WOW"! Thanks, Barry, for a wonderful concert. - Sue and Joe Fort (8/15/2010)

Great show! Barry was ON all night, he had no breaks. He puts on a performance and it shows. He makes everyone believe he is singing just to them. By the way loved the double (Barry from Michigan), and the opening act was unexpected and he was great also. I understand the show was sold out. So, Barry, we need you to be in Jersey more often! - Jo Ann Van Der Wall (of New Jersey) (8/16/2010)

The arena lights dimmed and musicians from the New York Pops walked onto the stage in an orderly fashion. Then, the band members joined them on stage and then the conductor Ron Walters, Jr. The show opened with a brief melody of Manilow tunes that eventually lead into "Could It Be Magic." The music was absolutely beautiful. Then the spot lights turned downward toward center stage where Barry emerged at the top of a platform with steps leading down to the stage. At the end of the stage was a runway. The crowd went wild! Barry was wearing his black tux pants and white jacket. His face was beaming and smiling ear-to-ear. You could see he was touched by the reception the crowd gave him when he appeared at the top of the steps. You could really feel the love that night! ... Barry, his voice, his band, backup singers, Straight No Chaser, and the New York Pops were the perfect combination of an unforgettable night of Manilow music. This man is brilliant in everything he does. He is a maestro who has shared his life stories and passions with us. During the concert, Barry made very good use of the stage and runway. The stage was vertically draped with purple drapes on each side of the stage. In the background, there was a screen. Of course, we saw the big yellow smile face when he sang "Can't Smile Without You." It was terrific. Barry sang a nice combination of upbeat music and ballads. Early in the show, he commented that he was going to sing an angry song. He said that he's known for his love ballads, but then jumped right into "Who's Been Sleeping In My Bed." We all shot out of our seats and started singing and swaying along with him. When he sang "Weekend In New England" and came to the "when can I touch you?" verse, almost everyone screamed "NOW, Barry!" We all laughed. It's refreshing to know he has a great sense of humor and enjoys playing along with us as we do with him. Barry sat on his tall stool at the end of the runway in front of his electric piano and began to talk about the Manilow Music Project. He informed and urged people to take interest and if they were able to, to please contribute or donate instruments to their schools. He told them the story about how his music class affected him and commented on how he wondered what would have become of him had he not had a music class to go to. Barry also said that if anyone had any broken instruments laying around in the attic to send them to him. He would repair them and make sure a child would receive it. The audience was so moved by his appeal and story. It was at that moment Barry began to play "I Am Your Child." Barry walked out to the end of the runway and told the story about a song he sings that came to him in a dream. Barry started "One Voice" and then all of a sudden, Straight No Chaser came out on stage to accompany him. WOW!! The harmony backed by orchestra music was breathtaking. I had goosebumps during that song. It was a nice surprise. Some other songs that I recall Barry singing were "Everything's Gonna Be Alright," "Mandy," "Even Now," "Memory," "When October Goes," and "New York City Rhythm." Barry gave two encores at the end of the show. He started to walk back down the steps and said, "I can't leave without doing this song," and quickly went into "Copacabana (At The Copa)." Barry closed with "It's A Miracle" then gave us his "one, two, three, Go!" and out shot silver streamers and white confetti. At the end, he walked up the stairs, turned, bowed again, blew kisses, and disappeared... But he left us wanting more. Louder and louder the crowd became then suddenly, Barry appeared yet again on stage. Everyone was on their feet shouting out for Barry. He walked down to the end of the runway and began to sing, "Old Friend." Then, he said he wanted to sing something that he wrote for us and lead right into a song that brings tears to my eyes every time he sings it, "Forever And A Day." Barry, once again Thank You for giving us the "best of you." - Millie (of Buffalo, NY) (8/18/2010)

To see Barry do what he was BORN to do, stand in front of the New York Pops and sing these timeless classics, was a joy beyond compare. Barry was in his element and in awe of his own craft, and it showed in the song selection, the arrangements, and the love he clearly had for coming "HOME" to perform them. All I can say is - Barry, you need to come home more often and bring all of those friends with you! Thanks for sharing your joy with all of us! - Kimberly Allison (Toms River, NJ) (8/19/2010)
Traveling east from Las Vegas for his only area show this summer, Barry Manilow will perform with the country’s largest pops orchestra, The New York Pops, at Boardwalk Hall Saturday August 14. “Caesars Atlantic City Presents Barry Manilow with the New York Pops” is the superstar’s first concert in 2010 outside of his current run at the Paris Théâtre at Paris Las Vegas, and provides a unique opportunity for his east coast fans to experience what has made the legendary singer/songwriter one of the most revered performers in music history. Backed by The New York Pops 60-piece orchestra along with a band and vocalists, “Caesars Atlantic City Presents Barry Manilow with the New York Pops” will showcase the icon’s many hits in addition to songs featured on his new album, “The Greatest Love Songs of All Time.” On this latest project Manilow’s loving interpretations and arrangements of classic love songs include “Love is Here To Stay,” “The Look of Love,” and “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love.”

August 20-21: I had the most wonderful time this past weekend seeing Barry perform his beautiful new show at the Paris Las Vegas theater. As always I am impressed by the gorgeous lighting, costumes and choreography. I loved hearing "When October Goes" which I had never heard live before. I also enjoyed "Who's Been Sleeping In My Bed," "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" and a very romantic "Somewhere In the Night." Loved the black and white check jacket Barry wore on Saturday and the red patent leather shoes with his red suit. "Nature Boy" is always a crowd pleaser and "I Am Your Child" is sweet and poignant. Thank you Barry for "Even Now" which was spectacular. Just when I can’t imagine any better performance, you top yourself! I am definitely looking forward to planning another trip back. Thanks for all you do and thanks to your hard working band and back-up singers, too! - Linda Foster (of Virginia) (8/23/2010)

August 20: Loving, unconditional, sincere musical talent from your heart Barry, you did sing your best tonight. But then again, you always do. Never a disappointment! I could never express the shared total feelings that night when you shared information that Dick Clark was there. My God, I almost fainted! I spotted Dick Clark, with his wife by his side, and while you were singing "Bandstand Boogie," Barry, YOU made Dick Clark's night! I watched carefully, being seated just rows behind him and the smile on that man's face was unforgettable. He was thrilled out of his mind. Proud and pleased, you gave him honor and great respect. Barry, no other musical talent has that magic. You are the one and only and I thank God for that everyday of my life. The Paris Las Vegas Theatre is absolutely breathtaking and so are you. A must see show by all! - Judee Riedel (Somers Point, NJ) (8/24/2010)

August 27: I got to go to the August 27 concert at the Paris. It was a magical night for me. The man who took me to this concert is the man I have had a crush on since I was 10. Paul arranged for me to meet Barry Manilow before the beginning of the concert. I have been a fan of Barry's since my dad took me to see him at the MGM over thirty years ago. Paul and I stood in the hall waiting to meet my Barry. I could hear him talking. The sound of Barry's voice is as beautiful as when he sings. The door opened and Barry reached for my hand and said my name. The rest is a blur! I was then escorted to my chair to hear the best Barry Manilow concert of my life. It truly is the best concert Barry has ever done. You must see it!! Thanks, Paul and Barry, for a dream come true. - Kimberly Hantman (Pasadena, CA) (9/10/2010, 9/21/2010)

September 5: Barry's "Bandstand Boogie" segment was featured Live on the 45th annual Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Telethon.

September 3-5: I was very fortunate to see all three shows this past weekend at Paris Las Vegas. The crowds were very enthusiastic and Barry looked very handsome and happy. He pours his heart into each powerhouse performance! I loved hearing "Could It Be Magic," "Somewhere In The Night," "Can't Smile Without You," "Nature Boy," "I Am Your Child," "Everything's Gonna Be Alright," "Who's Been Sleeping In My Bed," "New York City Rhythm," "Mandy," "I Write The Songs," "Even Now," "Weekend In New England" and the selections from his latest album "Greatest Love Songs of All Time." Just beautiful renditions, and I can see how proud he is to present his creations to us and also how thrilled he is with our reactions. He delivers with precision, power and passion. It was fun to be in the audience Sunday for the live feed of "Bandstand Boogie." The gang did a great job! Thanks Barry for three wonderful shows. I enjoy seeing you do what you were born to do. Your talent is amazing! Time flies when you are having fun and I always have fun when I see you. I have to also mention everyone at Paris makes me feel like I am so welcome. I cannot wait to go back again! - Linda (of Virginia) (9/7/2010)

September 5: This concert had a special place in my heart. Not only did it mark two years exactly when my son and I met Barry, but I also had the honor of donating my keyboard for the Manilow Music Project and attending this show in return FOR donating! This WILL always be a very memorable show because it was also Labor Day weekend. Barry, I, and the whole audience had the chance to hear Jerry Lewis live via satellite through the speakers of the Paris theater. Barry and Jerry were speaking for about 5-6 minutes. The Theatre des Arts is the most unforgettable theater I will have ever had the pleasure of being inside to see Barry perform! Barry is truly an amazing man and an outstanding performer. I thank him with all my heart for [the past] 32 fabulous years. Barry you ARE 'The Best'! - Laura Scott (Henderson, NV) (10/23/2010)

October 23: I thoroughly enjoyed the entire show. Life is good with Barry Manilow's music in your heart. - Vicki Wallace (Alexandria, VA) (11/2/2010)

Dear Barry, I have the same birthday as you (year and all). I finally saw you perform on October 24 at the Paris. It was the thrill of my life!! I sat six rows back and just knew you were singing directly to me (I had the black sequin top!). I stood the entire concert holding up one of your album covers (This One's For You). You don't realize what a fabulous concert you gave and how YOU changed my life at that performance! You were just great, Great, GREAT! I just absolutely loved the story about your Russian heritage and I cried when you told the story of your grandfather and you. I, too, came from an Eastern European background (Ukraine) and my father taught me the love of music and singing. Your story was so like mine as a child. Now I am encouraging my 10-year-old grandson to take piano and sing as he has a natural ability and a musical ear for music... truly a God given talent like YOU. You are also my hero because of all the wonderful things you are doing for the L.V. schools with their music program. How grand of you to donate your time and initiate a program to donate instruments. I will look for instruments in my neighborhood and donate them to your program. My daughter has been a 6th grade school teacher for 20 years and will promote your program in her Lansing school district too. You have started a beautiful program and you truly are carrying on the tradition and gift that your grandfather encouraged. I will always remember your performance in my heart as long as I live. You made me young that night and changed my life. - Mary Rakay (Canton, MI) (11/28/2010)

November 20: Barry is the classiest, most professional, and best all-round performer I have ever seen live (I'm 64 and I've seen lots). He interacts with the audience from start to finish. Makes you feel like he's one of your best friends by the end of the show. Great songs, lyrics, singing, story-telling, piano playing, backup singers and band. I couldn't sit still during the whole concert. A young woman beside me shook my hand at the end of the concert and asked me where I got all my energy. I told her from musicians and entertainers like Barry! - John Cassidy (London, Ontario, Canada) (11/25/2010)

November 19: Barry, even though I have seen you so many times over the years, and have so many cherished memories from the all the concerts, whether it be in Chicago, at the Las Vegas Hilton, or Paris Las Vegas, my favorite by far is the night we met during my Platinum, Friday, November 19, 2010 (My mom and I met you together). Meeting you was a dream come true for me. It inspired me to dream even bigger and to except more for my life. That night at the concert you sang, "River," I was moved to tears. "I wish I had a river I could skate away on... I would teach my fear to fly." That line gave me the courage to end a verbally abusive relationship, face my fears of being alone, and pray for someone to love and cherish me just as I am. Thank you for that Barry! - Mary Kloss (Chicago, Illinois) (7/23/2011)

That was my Platinum Show!! It was the most amazing night ever!!! Meeting and talking with Barry was unbelievable. We talked about previous shows that I had seen. We talked about my chasing his limo down the street after my first show. He complimented me on my shoes. He waved at us during the show. I was absolutely on Cloud 9!! Joe gave me the champagne bottle that we drank out of (I still have it) and I went to a tattoo parlor after the show and got Barry’s autograph put on my arm. I floated around Vegas for the rest of the weekend and told anyone who would listen my “I met Barry Manilow” story. Including the plane load of people who flew back to Memphis with us! I hope I will have the opportunity to do another Platinum Show. Barry has meant so much to me for my whole life, I would like to have the opportunity to thank him again! - Susan Cost-Hoaglin (Memphis, Tennessee) (2/7/2021)
